The Swiss brand, Hublot, which sold a $3-million diamond-laden Big Bang women’s watch earlier
this year, is upping the ante on itself by creating its most expensive
timepiece ever, encrusting it with as many as 300 carats of diamonds to
grab the attention of its new target market: ladies’ watches.
“Women are buying more than men, women are buying more often than men
and women are very influential over men, so you have three good reasons
to work on this population,” Chief Executive Officer Jean-Claude Biver
told Bloomberg. Women are boosting its business, much of which has traditionally come from selling large, sporty watches to men.
Hublot isn’t the only watchmaker catering more to women. According to Bloomberg,
the women’s watch market is now worth $3.9 billion and is set to grow
30 percent between 2010 and 2015. Women are increasingly seeing watches
as an investment; a fact that is now lost on Swatch Group AG (UHR)’s
Omega, which introduced its line of Ladymatic self-winding watches last
year. The models retail for up to $42,700. Meanwhile, Patek Philippe
launched a ladies’ chronograph watch this year which is made in rose
gold and sells for about $478,000.
Thankfully, you won’t find watches that expensive at eWatches. You will, however, find a fantastic variety of mens watches and womens watches in a price range you can afford.vedere di piu swiss replica e repliche hermes h-our
